  I adore Liza, I’ve seen her perform twice, she’s an Amazing entertainer. I love her honesty about herself and her family. They don’t make them like this anymore. Her energy is electric. She’s a Class Act!

  I had the pleasure of being sat next to Liza in a sushi restaurant in Manhattan once. My friend and I were in our early twenties and broke but got some sort of deal for one of our birthdays at this restaurant and were sharing a couple of basic rolls when my friend saw someone walk in and said “that lady looks just like Liza Minnelli” she went right over to the table maybe a foot away from us where a few women were already sat. She was so warm with them and they seemed to be trying to quell their giddy excitement to be sharing a meal with her. This was in 2010 or &apos;11 and the women were maybe in their mid forties, so a good bit younger than her. She started telling stories of various broadway shows, and even started singing a couple times. My friend and I had to order another sushi roll we couldn’t really afford just to have an excuse to stay longer and soak in her presence. She carried herself in a way that she was not above anyone despite all her success. Just telling her stories like someone might tell a friend of their travels or past adventures. <br>I feel blessed to have been able to witness her in all her genuine grace.

  What a refreshing take on Liza! I&apos;ve been a fan of Liza for what must easily be forty years. However I must have been asleep literally when this was aired ( I&apos;ve &nbsp;had a busy all consuming career myself).<br>I especially enjoyed the rock influence. I also really enjoyed listening to &nbsp;Gambocini talk about her singing a word, spot on description .😊<br>Did not know about her god mother&apos;s influence on her, wow, just a joy to watch &nbsp;this , thank you.

  I have almost finished reading her autobiography: &nbsp;Kids, Wait Till You Hear This! Realised on the 10 of March 2026. I will watch that documentary later, Thank you.
