  does nostalgia ever make you feel  like you don’t want to be here anymore? like a constant melancholy reminder that nothing will be the same, and that you’re going to keep getting older and everything will keep changing.. i miss being a child.. when the sun shined orange instead of white, and the birds sung while the neighbors cut their grass and the smell of breakfast was floating in the air. when each season had a distinct smell and energy, and the days didn’t melt into eachother

  Imagine, you're in space.  You take off your helmet and you hear this music.  You don't know where it's coming from but you don't care, you're just enjoying this moment and this resonance in the vastness of space.

  15 long years ago, a child was born in a university of a mom that was 22 years of age. The child was a woman and was colored in caramel. This child was one of the happiest children in the world. However, she knew not that her mother worked 2 jobs and was in the military. She didn’t even know her real mom for a while. She moved a lot, and never made a lot of childhood friendships. Her father left when she was 4 after a heated argument with her mother. The dad knew he wouldn’t be fit for his girlfriend or his daughter, so he left for their sake. The girl didn’t know at the time, but she never knew why she never had a father figure in her life. Soon she lived with her grandparents and lived happily spoiled and gratefully. Video games and TV all day and goodnight dreams. Smell of food in the morning and greetings and goodbyes when going to school. Her life was amazing, until she reached 6th grade. A deadly virus struck the world. She learned too much about life and her maturity was heightened, and she was no longer a child. Before she knew it, she was in 8th grade and was about to go to 9th grade. She started feeling down and started caring too much for others. She took their own failures and hatred as her own. She harbors it and grew worse by the days. Soon, she met someone great. Someone amazing. They were also down. She and they were happy together, before they left her to rot. She was then shrouded in darkness and she called for help before she lost it. Tis’ this day… she is alright and is learning to love herself…<br><br>Please never be afraid to ask for help. I was the girl in this story and my life was amazing until Covid hit. My mental health was draining with each passing year and I couldn’t focus. My confidence and esteem was shattered and I had fallen so deep down, I never thought I’d see the light again, until I asked out for help and got the help I needed when I believed no one would hear me. Please always try to get hp before you lose yourself. It will get better, but you must be the first one to make those steps towards getting better and never let the obstacles slow you down! I believe in you! Never stop going, and when you do eventually break down, always remember that I, a random stranger on the internet, believes in you. I’m proud you made it this far if you are struggling. Please never forget there is people in the world that you may not know that care about you and believes in you! Thank you for reading, stay strong! ❤❤<br><br>Edit : I&apos;m 18 now and going into college in a few weeks.
