  I a retired Us Army Ranger served with some Green beret&apos;s in Iraq and those guys are a different breed which is why i find it hard to believe that the Government would send fifty of them looking for a missing child they were definitely there for something else.

  Strict rules of hiking in Appalachia:<br>1. Don&apos;t look in the trees<br>2. Stay on the trail<br>3. If you hear a distant scream, no you didn&apos;t.<br>4. If you hear your name, no you didn&apos;t<br>5. Walk fast and with purpose. DO NOT RUN.<br>6. Don&apos;t be in the woods after dark.<br>7. If you must be in the woods after dark, heat and light are your friends.<br>8. If you see something, no you didn&apos;t.<br>9. Do not go toward the whistling

  As someone that got hypothermia on a snowy mountain and almost died, I can tell you that it completely mess up your mind. You start seeing things as completely different things, your thoughts get extremely confused, slow but also kind of panicked. You start thinking you should do things that make no sense to a normal person. And the scariest thing is, you don&apos;t realize that it&apos;s happening! I was extremely lucky to be found. So it&apos;s never a wonder to me when people get lost on a mountain did insane and unclear things, even if they were experts.

  Words can not express how furious I would be if my kid went missing, another person saw a shady man carrying something darting through the woods, and the authorities decided it was not related and chose not to tell me it had even happened

  About a decade ago, a girl went missing in my town. I vividly remember my aunt, who was more conservative than a nun and not eccentric at all, telling my grandmother that she had a dream that the girl was a few miles from our house in a ditch, but didn’t want to go to the police because “she didn’t want to be seen as crazy, or accused of murder if the girl was there” well, a few weeks later… the girl was found in a ditch a couple miles from our home.

  My dad saved my life....5 years after he died.<br><br>I was driving, tired and inevitably dozed off, only to look to my right at my father screaming at me to wake up....woke up just in time to avoid a semi.<br><br>Thanks pop.
