  This is absolutely the best video I have watched with my daughter. I appreciate your honesty about both pros and cons. Many videos were basically cheerleaders for said school. This is actually helpful in a real way. Thank you.

  I attended Vassar College for undergrad, and Michigan for grad school. &nbsp;When I got to Michigan I was so blown away at how much the university and Ann Arbor had to offer --- especially if I had been an undergraduate attending the school --- that I wished I had gone to Michigan for undergrad. <br><br>Also, I grew up 15 miles from Cambridge, MA, and Harvard and MIT psychologically dominate the Greater Boston area in terms of academic perception. &nbsp;So I spent a lot of time in Cambridge as a youth, exposed to Harvard and MIT students, and meeting people outside of Cambridge who had attended Harvard. &nbsp;What struck me about Michigan is that the students were just as brilliant, just as accomplished, just as high-achieving ---but they lacked the myopic and delusional self-aggrandizement that Harvard students and graduates possessed. &nbsp;<br><br>Also, if you attend Michigan, and you&apos;re from outside of the state, you MUST visit the eastern shore of Lake Michigan, cross the Mackinac Bridge into the Upper Peninsula, and visit the shore of Lake Superior, getting to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. &nbsp;Those lakes are actually MORE beautiful than the coast of Maine, and you&apos;re really missing something if you spend 4 years in Ann Arbor and don&apos;t visit them.

  Very informative (and accurate) pros and cons video! I&apos;m a Michigan Ross School alum (class of 1989) and it&apos;s nice to see that your current experience still closely matches mine from over 35 years ago! <br><br>I too felt the highly competitive nature of the business school was a con and ironically contradicts the self espoused idea of collaboration. However, I definitely believe the pros of U of M far outweigh the cons. Attending Michigan was one of the best decisions of my life. GO BLUE!

  Ur video was very helpful, thank u. I just visited Ann Arbor today for fun, and it was so cute like I can’t even. 😅 I’m currently a sophomore in high school and I’m looking at where to go to college. The grade thing kinda worries me tho, with only a certain amount of A’s/B’s to give out. And the dorm situation. But still a cool college. 💙💛
