  Lived and worked in the UK from 2019 to 2022, i couldn't wait for my contract to end and come back to SA. There is just something special about this beautiful country 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

  I lived in the UK and Germany for 17 years and in Oct 2019, I moved back with my wife and two kids. I know SA is far from perfect but this country is special and its good for my soul. My wife took the kids to the UK in June for two weeks and my eldest son comeback saying he is glad he doesn't live or go to school there anymore (Not impressed), this is the person who was born in the UK and still has grandparents over there😂😂

  I'm irish and my wife is South african, we are pondering coming back to live in SA. This country is special and it can be the best place for all if everyone pulls in the same direction

  A lot of South Africans are moving back with a much healthier bank balance than they left with.  The issue isn't so much as 'grass greener' it's more of a case of financial decisions.

  True, the grass is not greener on the other side. I was living in St John, Antigua, Caribbean Islands for 3 years.<br>Beautiful place but food was a problem. Very expensive and there is 2 supermarkets on the island. Everything is imported.<br>I decided to come back home in Roodepoort and I told my family there is nothing like home. There are so many shopping complexes near me and food affordability is great.<br>Nice to be back home.

  People should also not be too quick to forsake their country when times get tough. We have been through so much as a country, but let&apos;s not give up on this beautiful place. No country is smooth sailing

  It&apos;s good to try new life, if it doesn&apos;t turn out as expected then you have a home to go back to.
