  My neighbors were appalled that my father was teaching me to use a circular saw when I was 5 years old. He told them &quot;first he won&apos;t Saw without me&quot;. &quot;Second he will grow up with all of his fingers&quot;. I&apos;m a 66-year-old machinist and I have all my fingers😅 ....69 with all my fingers 😊

  Nurse here, once you apply a tourniquet DO NOT LOSEN IT BACK UP. Only a medical doctor can advise you once you apply one. Great video

  Great video!<br>My 6th grade shop teacher explained that the height of the table saw blade above the work should equal the amount of blade that you want to go into your hand! I have been following that advice for 45 years.

  Thanks for this video! I&apos;m a beginner. I&apos;m a widow and wanted a hobby. My late husband was a wood worker. I&apos;ve been figuring it all out on my own. It&apos;s been fun.

  I&apos;ve been an on again/off again hobbyist woodworker since I was young, helping my dad in the shop. There&apos;s not really anything new here that I haven&apos;t already figured out myself or been taught, except having a tourniquet handy, that&apos;s not something I had ever even considered, but seeing all these safety tips put together in one concise video is definitely a good refresher and I&apos;d go so far as to say this should be a must watch for anyone getting into woodworking or for any parent to show their kids that want to help them in the shop. Even after working with table saws, &nbsp;miter saws, radial arm saws, &nbsp;etc. for 50+ years, I still get flutters in my stomach when I fire one up. A healthy dose of fear can make the difference between having all your fingers left at the end of the day or not.
