I'm 64, and I retired at 62 with no regrets. I purchased 3.55 acres in the country, and that's my job. I have a small garden, and I buy my food from a local farmers market and an organic farm. I am not completely out of debt, but I am working on paying off this card this year.To the point, I am making more money being home than on a job. I had to become selfish and stop helping folks out who will never pay you back. I wanted to retire while I was in good health so I could travel.

I could have retired at 55, but I was enjoying my work so I kept working. I’m now 65 and getting ready to retire. In those 10 years, we’ve added another $2M to our portfolio . I’m ready to enjoy my retirement in 2025

I've met retired people for over 40 years. I've never met one that was bored. I'm a teacher. I am never bored over the summer and cry when I have to go back to work. That women in this video isn't bored. She's broke. She doesn't have the money to do anything. Being home and broke sucks. Not having to work while having money is the best thing in the world.

I was blessed to have a career that gave me a pension. I retired from the Department of Corrections at 53 and now I have a stress free job that keeps me active. I thank God for what He provided.

I have no regrets taking my SSR at 62. I have very little debt, a paid off mortgage and land, and I work part time hours 2 to 3 days a week. Im healthy and don't look or feel my age and on and on.
