  The Trunks that Cell killed was the original Trunks. Which its kinda crazy to think that everyone is dead in the original timeline. Cell went back 4 years before Trunks did created two timelines. The H.O.T special one (It gets erased in Super) and the Main Timeline.

  Tbf on the whole “Gohan wanting Cell to suffer” thing, THINK of all the BS Gohan had to go through PERIOD. Getting kidnapped by Raditz, fighting the Saiyans, fighting Frieza, whatever happened before Cell saga, and now everything that happened in the Cell saga. It’s clear he had a LOT of stress to go through, and now he had the power to let out his stress and the PERFECT stress dummy to use it on.
