  Best Chick-fil-A story I have is ironically a time I didn&apos;t get any food from them. The place I lived had 3 of them (4, technically, if you count the University&apos;s food court) and they were always busy. One time I pulled into their drive-thru-only location (yeah, they have those) only to find out it was unexpectedly closed. How did I find out it was closed? The restaurant Operator was standing in the summer heat in mid-afternoon by the intercom personally apologizing to each person who came through the drive-thru lane and thanking them for coming by. Why was it closed? One of his employees had died in a car accident and his funeral was that day. The Operator closed the restaurant, paid all of the workers for a full day as normal, and personally handled the customers so none of his team would have to choose between attending their friend&apos;s funeral or getting paid.<br>For any other franchise, that would be a news-worthy story of someone going above and beyond. For Chick-fil-A, that was still commendable but more in the vein of &quot;of course, that&apos;s what he did&quot; rather than &quot;wow, that&apos;s amazing.&quot; That&apos;s just the kind of thing that is expected given the culture of the company.

  I love that Chic-fil-a follows the mantra of &quot;hire for character, train for skill.&quot; You can easily teach a hard-working, responsible person how to run a restaurant, but you can&apos;t easily teach a lazy, irresponsible person how to be a better person.

  100% correct. &nbsp; 30 cars in line at Chicfilet, 5 minutes tops. &nbsp;3 cars at McDonald&apos;s, 15 to 20 minutes for garbage

  So I was a gate guard for about 6 months in the Army and I swear to god 90% of the time a Chick-Fil-A driver would pass through the gates to make a delivery on base they would drop off a sack of sandwiches to the gatehouse. This happened at LEAST once a week. I got more free food from Chick-Fil-A than all other restaurants combined.

  Chick-fil-A messed up my order once and forgot my sandwich. &nbsp;When I drove back and showed them my receipt they immediately apologized, got me the sandwich, and then someone who I’m assuming was one of the managers gave me a 10 dollar gift card for the inconvenience. &nbsp;They didn’t even make me prove that I hadn’t just stolen the sandwich or anything. &nbsp;Permanently got my loyalty to them with a visit where they technically messed up. &nbsp;Can’t think of a single other fast food location that would do that.

  I staggered into my local Chick-Fil-A one snowy afternoon. &nbsp; The boy taking my order could see I was rattled, so he asked if I was okay.<br>I told him the bus I rode to get there sort of jousted with a mail truck.<br>They didn&apos;t just comp my meal, the manager came out to check on me.<br>Do not speak ill of Chick-Fil-A in my presence.

  Ive been working for chick-fil-a for about three months now. I started out making $15 an hour and I worked my butt off since the day I started. The operator is there almost every day for at least a few hours that I know of. After just 8 weeks of working there the operator brought me into his office and told me that he noticed my hard work and will be giving me a raise because he thought I deserved it. I wish I worked at chick-fil-a sooner.
