Agree Bo was a huge loss... Also think don mattingly had a big impact on the team that nobody talks about. I think he had a presence that kept a lot of the guys in check.

Russell Martin knows what he’s talking about. He had to hit MLB pitching and as a catcher he had to figure out how to get MLB batters out.

Even with Bo's down year, he would still be second on the team in HR's and RBIs.

Bichette was a spark that ignited other players, so much easier to see now that he's not there.

I think you guys nailed it Vlad needs Bo just like he needed Teo, he played like crap for 1/2 a year when we traded Teo. Sometimes a guy needs that camaraderie or push from his friends to go that extra mile.

Bichette was their best hitter. Lead the American League in hits in 2021, 2022 and would have last year except for a late season injury

Bo was and will remain my favorite Jays player - at least until someone else comes along and knocks him off my personal pedestal. he wasn't showy but he was very good. I like that. I know others seem to love bling and flash and noise- whereas I am attracted to steadiness and reliability.

Totally agree.  When Bo was not hitting, no second thoughts about moving him down the order.  He worked harder and he moved back up.  He understood.  Why does Schneider not move Vladdy down the order?  Was it in the contract that he could not?

Correcction: They were bad from game 4 since they swept the first series against the A's. Then the Cody Ponce injury followed by Kirk and Barger a few days later. Sigh .......

Fools think WAR is the be all.  Bo was among the leaders at hitting with RISP .  This team couldn't hit with RISP all year.  That's why Bo is missed. Kaz had some hrs. But also failed to deliver often striking out.
