  For whatever it's worth, Valspar makes an oil based paint, similar to Rust-oleum, but the Valspar product can be tinted any color you want.  If you go with Rust-oleum, you have to pick from about a dozen or so standard colors, and that's it.  The Valspar stuff is called Anti Rust Armor.  I welded up a utility trailer and used the Valspar to paint it the same color as my truck.  Took the gas filler door off, went to Lowe's, and they color matched it with their machine.  I was very happy with the result.

  Did a paint job with Rustoleum gloss white on a light blue 76 chevy rust bucket. This was in the 80's and the paint was $20.00 a gallon. I paid $200.00 for the truck used it 60 years and sold it for $700.00.

  Wow! That looks GREAT! FIRE TRUCK!  I used Rust-oleum Sunrise Red rattle cans for the tailgate of my 96 Ram and the color was a perfect match. And, what I thought was gonna be just a typical quick n dirty rattle job, turned out great. Their 5-in-1 selectable nozzles actually work pretty decent. Now I gotta use a gun and paint the rest of the truck to look as good as the tailgate. LOL - - Thanks for your videos!
