  The answer to the question at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGdaMKvafjk&amp;t=1232">20:32</a> is yes, it&apos;s all done via HUD. The reticle in game is actually diegetic. The characters themselves actually see that little reticle and the tech in-universe is called SmartLink Optics.

  Honestly, knuckle guard as sorta-kinda trigger guard is on of the few things in sci-fi that actually makes sense.<br>Considering weapon manufacturers now need to take into account stuff like power armors, exoskeletons, EVA suits etc. All that stuff that have really bulky gloves.

  The Halo weapons all have some integration with the heads-up display, which marines and army troopers have by default. The AR specifically also has flip up iron sights for a backup, while the other weapons all have obvious sights.
