  Those with spiritual eyes will see truth. Its not what a Pope says but his actions that speak louder. Thats why prayer is so important. Pray daily the rosary as Our Lady of Fatima asked to mitigate coming events.

  For me to decide I had to enter the Catholic Church, 2 things had to occur: I had to read Pope Pius IX's 'Syllabus of Errors,' and then I had to attend a Traditional Latin Mass. Never trust a priest who, at the very least,  is not fully respectful of both.
