  Taiwan&apos;s receipt is also a lottery. Every two months the government will announce the jackpot numbers then you check the numbers on the receipt. I won cash many times. I guess the guy was just collecting receipt for a chance to be a millionaire.

  The old man that was asking you for receipt is because in Taiwan you can win money from the numbers on the receipt. Every month they have a drawl like a lotto 649 ticket if your receipt matches the numbers you win money!!

  At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCt-tr2heT0&amp;t=763">12:43</a> the guy asks for your receipt because in Taiwan every receipt from a shop is actually a lottery ticket where you can win money. Most tourists don’t know or care about this, so he was probably just trying to get your receipt to join the lottery.

  It is most likely the #1 food heaven in the world!! &nbsp;There are so much more awesome food for you to discover, and I&apos;m so jealous of you now because I haven&apos;t been back for a long time LOL. &nbsp;Most of them are cheap and super delicious!! &nbsp; You should also try some of the most popular food such as steak, minced pork rice along with other small dishes, and don&apos;t forget the breakfast as well. &nbsp;Happy New Year and enjoy your time there!!

  I love the look of Taipei!! Looks like another jewel in asias crown! Love that they have engagement rings in the subway station, we are lucky if we can get a coffee here! Loved this, thanks Chris!
