  Eh ano ngayon kung UP ako?<br>..That question from Ms. Jessica Soho struck me to the very core. It reminded me that the education I got from UPD 20 years ago was indeed a privilege (an STFAP bracket 8 Iskolar all throughout my 5 yrs journey as a BSBAA student). This same education inspired my sister to also study in UP.. And last year she obtained her PhD from UPD (a true-blooded Iska from bachelor to masteral to doctorate).. Now an education specialist at UP-NISMED.<br>From my end, I can proudly say I am giving back to the nation by staying grounded and choosing to work here in the Philippines (for almost 2 decades now).. Meron oportunidad sa sariling bayan. Sipag at tiyaga lang ang puhunan. Walang shortcut. Naging karapat-dapat na Islolar ng Bayan.<br><br>I vividly reminisced my UP student life from the stories of Ms. Jessica Soho.. <br>Ramdam ko ang speech mo, Ms. Jessica. To its very essence.. Became teary-eyed.<br><br>Continue to inspire!!

  very seldom talaga ang journalist na inspiring. madami ang bayaran ng mayamang businessman or pulitiko. but Jessica Soho remain as very credible media personality

  I appreciate how she reminded the graduates to be humble, kind, and grateful, and to honor those who supported them throughout their education, especially the taxpayers. She highlighted the importance of giving back to their communities and recognizing that taxpayers are the unsung heroes who face daily struggles and overcome challenges just to provide for their families.<br><br>The concept of &quot;kapwa&quot; seems to have been forgotten by the new generation, possibly because young people are so focused on the internet rather than engaging in face-to-face interactions. It is crucial to respect and take care of the people you work with and to advocate for those who cannot fight for themselves. Kudos to Ms. Jessica Soho for mentioning &quot;kapwa,&quot; and congratulations to the UP graduates!
