  There is something we often forget to teach: *arms*. It's really important when you learn to make your arms follow your feet, and to look where you going instead of looking at your feet. You will learn faster and have a better balance. Arms up at the level of your shoulders, when your turning keep your arms up, the outside one front and the inside one back, so when you do a half turn, inverse your arms position. When you jump, flex your knees as much as you can, and make your arms follow: from the sides of your body (up), they will go down and then cross against your breast with an impulsion to the top.

  Lol I actually learned the turn on accident when I was trying to stop and I just put my foot down down and I did like 7 spins and my friends where so surprised and they were all saying how did you do that!

  everyone thinks wearing pads makes you look nerdy... WEAR THE DAMN PADS! and a helmet!<br>wrist, knee pads and helmet. start on flat smooth surface maybe next to some grass if you can.<br>fall on your knees a couple times use the knee pads and wear your wrist guards... helps to fall couple times on the pads, try wearing shoes and just fall on your knees few times, see how easy it will be for you...
