I like John Burkes approach. He separates a person's NDE from their interpretation of it. Their interpretation is based on their worldview, while the experience itself is what it is. He explains that all NDEers recognize God even if they had been atheist but, surprisingly, some were not changed by their NDE.

Thank you for modeling, and to help redefine both witnessing and apologetics. For far too long, apologetics has been viewed as a confrontational tool rather than a helps ministry it ought to be. The spirit in which it is done and the respect for the person you are speaking with is critical in this distinction. Well done.

I remember every detail of my NDE that happened 17 years ago. Yet, I often can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday. P.S. Heaven is real!

Dr Eden said he had a “Psychotic break” scary experience right after the positive experience… Wondering about that but now he is forgetting that event… it’s interesting how he really sees everything for a specific lens. It’s pretty clear he dismissed anything that didn’t fit the paradigm he choose. Thanks for your clarity & kindness Sean
