am with you! 20yr Air Force veteran
Desert Storm. When my PSA climbed to 5.1 ... 11-7-2023 the VA immediately wanted to do a trans-rectal Biopsy and remove my prostrate I said let me do some research. I felt very uncomfortable even talking with the VA Doctor! I fought with the VA to see a Urologist out side the VA for two years meanwhile my PSA continued its climb!
Finally got approved to see a Urologist and did the trans-rectal random Biopsy, I asked the Doctor what are the chances of finding anything he said 50/50 I regret doing it He also wanted to remove my prostrate After another year of MRI's & Pet-ct scans you could clearly see my Pirads 5 targets which the random Biopsy missed!
Once I turned 65 it seems the sky opened up ..... I had Medicare A&B and Tricare for life which meant I could chose everything!
The Doctor, hospital and the exact treatment I wanted "NOT WHAT THE DOCTORS SCARE YOU INTO" This year Mar 12-2026 1 got the Trans-perineal Targeted fusion Biopsy and finally found Gleason 3+4=7 one main target and one smaller target. May 19-2026 I chose Nano Knife at Mayo Clinic AZ it seemed to be the best option for my particular situation at the time of treatment my PSA climbed to 20.1.
Just had a recent PSA test it came back 2.9 and still dropping I have a follow up
August 21-2026 with Mayo hoping for another big drop. Godspeed to all Men fighting this disease 🙏

First off many thanks to you both. Honest, professional advice with years of medical experience. After 20 years of surveillance I have had recently a PSMA scan ,my third. I did this because I had a little niggly pain in my hips. I do a bit of bicycle riding and particularly like pushing my self probably beyond my limits as I am no longer a young chap. A bit of arthritis in hips as previous scans have shown. Should have my scan results in a few days so it should be interesting. Thanks again to you both. Much love to you both

I was diagnosed via a biopsy with Gleason 3+4 prostate cancer February 2025 at the age of 64. Both a surgeon and radiologist recommended removal. They said at a younger age (1) I am more likely to tolerate the surgery with fewer side effects and (2) I have a longer remaining life span to possibly encounter issues if I do not treat it. They agreed the removal could wait until October of 2025. I asked for an MRI to verify the cancer was no worse than what the biopsy showed. The MRI did not show any cancer.... I proceeded to have the prostate removed in October 2025 with a Retzius sparing radical prostatectomy. The biopsy of the removed prostate showed the cancer had progressed to Gleason 4+3. It was a couple of months before I fully recovered, but I did not encounter any issues with incontinence or impotence thanks to (I am told) the Retzius sparing procedure. Recently a man in my community about my age passed away from cancer which originated with prostate cancer. I am glad to be done with it!

Thank you for your informative videos! I have gleason 3+4 with about 20% been a more aggressive cancer. I'm 65 and in pretty decent shape. I have decided to do active surveillance just for the quality of life.Have not been stressing about the cancer..started a healthy supplement (not ivermectin/fenben) regime. The way i look at it if I get another 15 years of life I'm good with that.

I needed to hear this. I thank you. recently diagnosed with 3+4, I'm getting a second opinion at John Hopkins, and another at Clevland Clinic. I live in the Pittsburgh area. I thank you so very much for this video, I feel pressured that I need to treat now, and I'm wanting to go about lifestyle change and watching to see what it's going to do. Thank you again. Mario

Had PC for years. Dr told me it would not kill me and gave me checks but no treatment and now 96. Yes it obviously grew slowly as I grew old slowly and I’m still around . I’m no Dr but seems that you won’t die of it but with it. Suppose there are some severe cases but most can live with it but not die of it.

Have Gleeson 3+4, diagnosed in Feb 26. currently on active surveillance and last 3 PSA's have been reducing 4.5, 3.8, 3.6. This video is very reassuring albeit I have psa test here in UK every 3 months. Thanks for these videos, they are very good and so informative.
