  he lost me immediately when he said &quot;we dont care about his family dying necause we didnt get to know them&quot;<br>that wasnt the point of killing them. you don&apos;t cry because you cared about them individually, you cries because you understood why the character cares and it motivates him to save his sister.<br>this is a basic &quot;family love triumphs&quot; setup and if you love your own family, you will care.

  Demon Slayer isn&apos;t incompetent, its simple. &nbsp;Just a simple story about good vs evil, the good guys are virtuous and self sacrificing, the bad guys are selfish and cowardly. &nbsp;There&apos;s nothing wrong with such a story. &nbsp;The author knew exactly what story she wanted to tell, told it, and didn&apos;t waste the reader&apos;s time.

  The thing that annoys me is that he equates Shinobu being weak as a result of her being a woman when it&apos;s just something that applies to HER. Mitsuri, Kanao and Kanae were all capable fighters in their own right regardless of being women. Shinobu&apos;s weakness is literally just a trait of hers like Gyomei&apos;s blindness that&apos;s meant to show us how resilient she is in the face of strife. Seeing a character that&apos;s small and weak and going &quot;Oh cause she&apos;s a woman, right?&quot; seems more misogynistic imo

  from a fellow girl idk how you can call mitsuri having love breathing be misogyny, because if you saw her entire backstory you would see how much she wanted to be feminine. she tried so hard to forcibly hide her insane strength and large appetite along with her unique hair color, because she didn&apos;t fit the standard for every other girl her age so she felt heartbroken. but accepting her typically masculine traits and hair color as a key part of her was a huge step, because it&apos;s hard to love someone if you don&apos;t love yourself.

  Demon Slayer would be way better than it already is if it wasn&apos;t so rushed. Major events were taking place basically right after another, so it was hard to catch a breath. More fleshed-out training arcs, more screentime for the hashira outside of their battles and some more down-to-earth moments would definitely be a welcome addition to the series

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4V5OaCe_cc&amp;t=540">9:00</a>, if I remember correctly, Sabito and Makomo were actually able to hurt Tanjiro, and there’s a deeper connection to Japanese religion here. The rock that Tanjiro was trying to cut had something called a yorishiro or iwasaka, which are sacred in Shinto belief, used to attract or house spirits. Later in the show, when Tanjiro finally cut the rock with the rope around it, it explained why the spirits of Sabito and Makomo disappeared.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4V5OaCe_cc&amp;t=983">16:23</a> When Gyutaro is confused by how Tengen didn&apos;t die right away to the poison, Tengen outright states that he has poison resistance so it doesn&apos;t affect him as quickly. Meanwhile Muichirou was so numbed by Gyokko&apos;s poison that he couldn&apos;t even pick up his sword until he unlocked his mark. Mui was a good matchup against Gyokko because Gyokko relies on evasion while Mui uses stealth to cloud his opponents&apos; senses so they can&apos;t evade his attacks. Zohakuten uses long range attacks for the most part and Mitsuri has arguably the best long range breathing style, so they&apos;re a good matchup for a fight. They&apos;re not examples of characters switching opponents, but it shows that different characters are better against different opponents.

  Worst thing is that their is valid criticism in this essay, but they are somewhat lost among the inaccuracy, not valid ones and clumsily put point.

  Is this what people mean when they say that someone&apos;s watching a show from reels/tiktoks? Cause there&apos;s absolutely NO WAY you&apos;d have these questions if you actually saw the show.
