This is the kind of story we search the internet for: unique or at the very least highly impactful stories that leave a mark. Made me think this kind of story could come out of The Twilight Zone, or the SCP-Foundation. It's better than the repeated glut of family betrayal stories.

There should be a sequel to this where OP goes out into the world and unexpectedly comes across his old self, still trying to run and hide from the entities. He can't tell if he is real or the old one is real. They interact for a while, and the lines become so blurred that OP doesn't know if he's imagining it, he's having an out of body experience, or he's dreaming. He closes his eyes in desperation, and when he opens them, he's back in his apartment with Patricia, and they've been together as a couple for years. Before he can process what's going on, his phone buzzes with an emergency alert.

The end.

As a writer, this is actually super interesting. The way that they actually made it a sad ending was very interesting. I'm not entirely a huge fan of fantasy, but this was also kind of dystopian with what we have in the world now. I left a like on the video in hopes to come back to it, I might want to write about this, possibly a different ending.
