I worked for 10 years in a PSB and resigned as scale 3 senior manager. Got transferred 7 times in 10 years and situation is getting worse year on year in banks. Firstly employees are forced to do loans/credit cards anyhow with daily/weekly targets then no one helps them during compliance/audit of those same files. Doing recovery from NPA customers is another nightmare for bankers

In the next five years ,bankers will be called salespersons, be it clerks or officers.<br>Unions ,RBI and finance ministry as a whole are resposible for this misery.<br>But if bankers unite now things can be changed.<br>We still don't understand our powers if bankers unite and protest just call for 1 week strike the entire economy will halt and all our pending demands will be passed swiftly. Just we have to sacrifice 1 week salary.

This happened with me too. During covid, I lost my father. No one was supposed to meet our family according to protocol. My mother got sick too. She was hospitalized. After 18th day of my fathers death, my ex manager, Mr Jitendra Kumar called me and told me I don't care what happens to your mother, u need to join work whereas I had sufficient leave. That's the amount of torture I got. After 3 days of me joining the DBM (deputy Branch head), Mr Vikas Kumar, told me u cannot go and take vaccine. First come to work then go and take vaccine. They are managers who need to burn to death. Bankers themselves are their own enemy. So honestly this is the work culture. The first thing that manager made me do when I joined was mark my leaves. I pray to God each day that the manager and the Dbm too face the same faith.

I have been working in psb the work environment is worst all the non compliance things will happen if we stand they will make us long transfer and worst transfer policy and daily un achivable targets thank you for sharing facts in banking
