  Actually , In English called Adams peak for "Sri Padhaya" which is Lord Buddha's foot print is on that top of the mountain truly . U can see it . But now it's covered with glasses for the protection. Lord Buddha is not a god . But all of god are worship to Lord Buddha . I can't explain that shortly , but u can explore this religion . It's so closed science. That's y buddhism is interesting . Not only humans or gods but also animals , mostly butterflies and elephants are come to worship for that Buddha's foot print. When enter that mountain forest that all u have to be careful with your every single word which is out from your mouth. Because the God who called "Sumana Saman God" is the ruler for that land. Don't eat meats and don't use alcohol when u r hiking there . If u do that , u'll have to face lot of incidents . That's 100% sure. Atleast, don't harm for a tree leaf. Whatever nice video brdh ❤️.

  The mountain you climbed has a great historical significance. As a student of archaeology, I felt like sharing something about my country with you.<br>According to Sinhalese Buddhists, this mountain is known as Sri Pada (Sri Pada). It is believed that when the Buddha visited Sri Lanka, a deity named Saman Devalaya deity Saman (Saman) who resided there invited the Buddha to leave His sacred footprint on the summit so that devotees could worship it. According to Buddhist traditions, when people climb this mountain, they avoid saying or doing anything bad, because it is believed that if they do, the deity Saman may become angry and cause them to lose their way on the mountain.<br>At the same time, Tamil Hindu devotees in Sri Lanka believe that it is the footprint of Lord Shiva, placed there for worship after descending from the sacred Mount Meru. If you have traveled in India, you may have seen how idols are bathed in milk as part of rituals. Similarly, Hindu devotees who climb the mountain used to pour milk over the footprint as an offering, and because this could damage it, the footprint is now protected with a covering.<br>In addition, Muslims in Sri Lanka believe that the footprint was left by Adam for his followers. That is why the mountain is also called Adam’s Peak.<br>Since this mountain is a place of worship for the three main religious communities in Sri Lanka—Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims—it holds great cultural and religious value in the country.<br>Historically, there is also a specific season for pilgrims to climb the mountain.   If you don’t climb Sigiriya forget it-I did this hike 2/12 weeks ago -absolutely incredible 1200 steps!!!!
