Why Is Everyone Lining Up for This Iranian Street Food?! 🇮🇷🔥

Welcome to one of Iran’s busiest and most authentic street food spots! 🇮🇷🔥 In this video, we’re taking you inside a crowded Iranian eatery to see how one of Iran’s most traditional and unique dishes, Joghoreh Boghoreh (جغور بغور), is prepared and served. Joghoreh Boghoreh is a traditional Iranian dish made mainly with chopped lamb or sheep offal, including liver, heart, kidney and other parts, cooked together with onions, tomatoes, green peppers and spices on a large hot griddle. The result is a rich, flavorful and smoky street food that is especially popular in traditional eateries and local food markets. You’ll see the entire atmosphere of the restaurant — from the sizzling griddles and freshly cooked ingredients to the busy kitchen, long queues, crowded tables and people enjoying their food with fresh Sangak bread, tomatoes, green peppers and Doogh, a traditional Iranian yogurt-based drink. One of the most interesting parts of this experience is watching the food being cooked right in front of the customers. The sound of the sizzling pan, the heat from the grill, the smell of freshly cooked meat and the constant flow of hungry customers make this place a true Iranian street food experience. Joghoreh Boghoreh may be unfamiliar to many people outside Iran, but dishes made with liver and other cuts of meat have a long history in different food cultures around the world. In Iran, this type of traditional food is closely connected with local markets, small restaurants and casual street-food culture.
