Thank you so much. I really fell in love with the idea of running an Eberron campaign as I went through the old 3.5 source books but really wanted something to help me get through the mass and help me keep track of things. Your channel was like a godsend, thank you so much.

So, the way Keith Baker showed the immortality of the fiends in his novels and blogposts is that they absolutely are immortal, but only sort of unkillable. Every fiend (or similar outsider) can be killed if you're strong enough, and the Overlords are no exception. The problem is, they never stay dead. Ashtakala was probably completely destroyed more than once by the dragons, only to pop back up later.

Next up: Sharn, and all of it's powerstruggles, machinations and intricacies, and how those echo through in the world.
Thank you for this amazing content on a way too underappreciated world.

Ashtakala: came for the sand and sun. Stayed for the hand models and eternal torment.
