  NOTIFICATION SQUAD: If I hadn&apos;t seen this hot spring water with my own eyes, I&apos;m not sure I&apos;d have believed it was even real. Tsuru no Yu onsen really is on another level.<br>Amazing to be back in Akita after our ill-fated stint on Journey Across Japan in the area!<br>At last on this trip we could do the region justice, by rolling in some snow and splashing around in a hot spring. Away we go 🍻

  As a finnish sauna loving man i can APPROVE this tent sauna being more legit than some hotels have cos they dont even let you trow water LOL.<br>You even have some proper finnish &quot;vihta&quot; at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuZ06cAwFLw&amp;t=298">4:58</a> and yes you did it right. Only they need to be fresh or atleast well soked, not dry as a mommy.

  As a finn i am happy Japan has adopted the sauna culture in its traditional form. It is really amazing how two completely different cultures half a globe apart are so similar and enjoy the same things like harmony and nature.
