It blows my mind how he articulates his pain and suffering. It’s such a catchy song too. What a great companion.

He has a Serj Tankian vibe in this song. Beautiful. Great reaction!

Completely agree how revealing his song and lyrics are, almost as if we're reading a page out of his diary. But I would argue that him sharing the occasional darker moments in a song is a way of defeating those darker forces, at least for a while.

My pain lasted 3.5 years—a fraction of Ren’s, but I had two babies who’d never know me if I passed. When everyone tells you nothing’s wrong (it’s psychosomatic), and you KNOW that pain so intense has a reason, one that’s surely fatal, the journey leaves a mark.

That’s what this song says to me.

He is giving the voice to so many people in pain and illness, and who are dismissed and left forgotten. <3 It is not a pretty or easy song but an important one. <3

I appreciate Ren taking the time to create lyric videos. Makes it so much easier to focus on his words. Also there's a lot of real gems among the lyric videos like this one, Seven Sins, Loco and Masochist.

It's the duality of Ren and his humanity, the 2 sides to an artist one expected to be an overconfident mask the other the reality.

Thank you for mentioning the power of prayer! I love watching your videos.

Hugs to you for your beautiful soul and shining light. I wish I could just give Ren a hug and take some of his pain from him. We'll have to settle for prayer and hope that is enough.
