  Here&apos;s what I believe is going on and overall perspective of Noah&apos;s season:<br>I think Noah did have a cramp and he&apos;s not lying. What I also believe is for precautionary reasons, he&apos;s not racing anymore to allow him to have finalise his build up with the 100m and explode on the 200m at Ultimate. This year, Noah has competed indoors and outdoors and has been one of the few top athletes on the sprints side to be active throughout the year. Even though it&apos;s been an off year, he&apos;s still attacked the races he&apos;s been and been instrumental in many of the great performances and stories on the track and field circuit. Perhaps in the Noah camp, running one meet in Europe to fly back home to then go to Ultimate isn&apos;t worth the travel nor lost time in training possibly. <br><br>With the 200m, we know he doesn&apos;t need a lot of reps to run super fast. I think because Noah and his team focused more on the 100m, the opportunity to compete in a highly contested 200m has almost evaporated this year intentionally or unintentionally. <br><br>If there isn&apos;t anything wrong with him, him not choosing to run is ok because how much we&apos;ve seen from him already but I understand the frustration for the sport as a whole. This is why imo the sport cannot rely or depend on the appearances of the top track sprinters anymore and instead work around other events that have been the workhorses of the sport but don&apos;t get the same coverage or marketing as sprints or middle distance. If there is something wrong, I personally think he should prioritise only the 100m to secure another bye for next year&apos;s Worlds so he doesn&apos;t have to run the gauntlet at USAs next year.

  If an athlete is injured it is what it is. Put out a schedule in April and maybe develop some type of reserve system to mitigate a big name pulling out. If they’re pulling out just because, fine them and make it really hurt in the point system ranking. (Which needs to be simplified) Also get rid of the diamond league final and replace it with ultimates because people seem to want to go, so they’ll be less likely to pull out.

  Coach you scared me with that Thumbnail man I thought you was about to say Noah was pulling out of World Ultimates. It does suck we won’t see him again before then considering the shape he looks to be in.

  Whats killing Track from gaining fans is the model of every athlete &nbsp; structuring their season to peak at different times. This race doesnt matter because athlete X isnt attending for this reason that reason. These races dont matter. This race does. Its early in the season. Athlete Y isnt peaking yet. If some races dont matter, none of them matter. Its Why the olympic model is the only product that works. Everythings on the line and they are at their best. Its clean.

  He very clearly picked up an injury during USAs. Noah Lyles has been the most consistent sprinter I can think of. He deserves a break. Also, saying Track means nothing is a stretch considering that Noah Lyles, Sha’Carrie, Sydney, Jacobs, etc earn millions from their shoe companies and other endorsements. Andre Degrass’ 10 year contract with PUMA was worth $20 million. Who makes that money in just a decade?
