    i think the boo keys were used as a method to access the other areas in the mansion ( the second flour, big boo&apos;s balcony and the third flour and the cottage ) to prevent people from just wall jumping and beating the level in an unintended way

    Delightful to see how much work was put into the ball physics in Sunshine and then instead of working with those, they toss Mario himself into the giant pachinko machine, with deadly results

    The unused world map sprites for smb2 would’ve also been from RAM limitations as old games didn’t have a lot of ram storage. So they could’ve been scrapped for that reason too
