So glad you mentioned mauricio gnomes. He was my teacher of Jits 30 years ago. He was one of rolls Gracie’s top students. You should do a his story of coming to uk and teaching Jits and hardship he went through. He persevered though and still teaching today.

Why they keep saying Helio was small and fragile! Make him sound like little Timmy, The man was an athlete/ swimmer in great shape with muscles! Not huge, but strong. Thats all I know from videos here on YouTube. Look it up. Helio Gracie exposed. I respect the Gracies but stop with that fragile story.

Love him or hate him. He successfully started a legal cult, still ongoing till today (Gracie Barra) and the BJJ mafia where you pay to pretty much workout and they dictate who and who cannot compete and who is a real black belt, with a fee of course (IBJJF).
