Exceptionally well regarded by most at Leeds... Promoted from League One at a low tide for the club, and maybe if he had a bit more money to spend might have got us back to the big time a bit sooner..

One of my favourite leeds managers we played some good football albeit in a lower division. Bates screwed him with the lack defensive reinforcements in the season we got promoted back to the championship.

Top bloke Simon.  Gave us Leeds fans basically our only good day between 2003-2020 in May 2010.

Simon Grayson what a Leeds manager the man who got us out of division 3 🙏🤝. What a match 1.0 down a man sent off and we needed promotion that day we won 2.1 against Bristol Rovers 38,234 i was there one of the best matches and atmospheres i have ever been in it still lives long in the memory 🙏🤝. If we had failed on that day in May 2010 we probably would've been in division 3 for years thanks gentlemen and Simon M.O.T A.L.A.W keep fighting 🦚🤍💛💙

Was a good Leeds Manager. &nbsp;Delivered two immortal moments for them. Was the beginning of our upturn in fortunes. Did OK in the Championship, but was hamstrung by finances and/or need to strengthen.<br>Shame it&apos;s not gone terribly well for him at most places since, apart from maybe Preston. Sunderland, until recently were an absolute basket case of a club
