Why did india claim midpoint as the claim line. It should have claimed western bank of sir creek so that any negotiated settlement would have been in the middle. This righteousness is costing us land, resources and mind space.

Great episode peeling the different historical, political, geographical and hydrographical layers of the Sir Creek onion. The audio quality could have been much better in places where it crackled like a cheap party DJ

Just a question Shekhar - how come you mentioned Bombay Preisdency od the East India company in 1908? Wasn't the EIC out of the picture after the 1857 war of independence? All the 3 presidencies were out of the scene and the British were directly involved

Dear sir ...just a correction of fact, it is actually BSF and not CG which is deployed in the creek area as extn to Rann of Kutch. While CG is deployed on high seas.
