  Don’t listen to the (not so) expert commentary from all those who’ve never used an OGO. These things are a game changer. We’ve just got back from over 3 months in WA and only had to empty the solid bucket 3 times… try that with a cassette.<br>Two points that may help…<br>1 - Get a 15L block of coconut coir, cut it into thirds, put one piece in a bucket and soak it with 600ml of warm water until it expands, mix it and the add it to the OGO bucket . This ratio will only “just” be damp. Too much water and number two’s won’t dry out and break down. I cut up a couple of 15L bricks into thirds and bag them into zip lock bags which makes it easier when traveling.<br>2 - If after a few trips, if you find your en-suite stinks, you may need to relocate the vent pipe. Mine goes through the floor with the outlet facing rearward. You’ll need to see if wind pressure when traveling at 90-100 kph pressurizes your vent and blows back through the toilet and into the van. If it does I’d simply replace your vent grille on the hatch door with a cover shroud with the opening to the rear which will create an exhaust effect in the vent pipe

  One of our first upgrades was an OGO and possibly the best. Pretty easy changeover and seeing as our chemical toilet was virtually new I managed to sell it for $400

  Idk why composting toilet aren&apos;t put in a van or motorhome to start with they are wayyyyyyyyyyy better than a chemical toilet
