As an arab girl who traveled to 8 middle eastern countries and lived in a Gulf country, I'm so surprised at how different life in Iran looks like comparing to our countries and the people always look so elegant, modern, cultured, beautiful. But what surprised me the most is that despite the fact women can dress whatever they want, go out with their friends, and seeing the many young couples in public... others don't gaze or stare at them at all or try to bother and harass them (unlike arabs and especially men they'd crowd staring at women and couples and will attempt to harass them this happens even in the most developed or luxurious areas and parts of the country, i also experienced this in Saudi but by women (mostly the niqabis) everywhere you go you'd find them gazing at you for minutes and it happens to me just because i don't cover my hair although I'm wearing long black abaya covering full body) and in Iran even elderly people or the ones who seem religious they don't stare or judge or harass anyone. This tells you a lot about the society and how civilized are the people and their country and how it can easily impact their productivity, manners, and create a healthy environment for them .
