  I have the kalima in my hallway which I see and recite as I remember it, entering  the house the dua, exiting house duas, these have been beneficial for my children and I myself have learnt them by heart too

  I respect sheikh opinion. I am not a good muslim but having seeing the word Allah and Muhammad s.a.w on the wall, makes my mouth move and recite those words. Same for my son and wife, i want them to say those words daily. While verses of quran on the wall, is for me to recite when i am relaxing on my couch. Yes, it looks beautiful, because it is supposed to attract anyone who sees it and thus read it. I dont have pictures in my house but i put the word Assalamualaikum on my front door. And i have small stickers reciting doa on the door for anyone to read it before doing it. Such as doa for going out or in of a bathroom, doa to go out of the house, doa to start working, doa to sleep. I have memorize it but i want my children to make it a habbit to begin their life with doa, so their daily journey starts with their mouth reciting the words from Allah...

  A fiqh issue. People holding Fiqh issues need to be careful of calling something Haram with assurity. And yes no name should be equal to Allah. It can be an reminder to some.

  People always looking to make any and everything haram. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Islam is not that complicated.

  He s a preacher, not an official mufti, so his views are personal scholarly opinions that we can listen to, but they’re not binding. On this issue, there’s a valid difference of opinion among scholars, especially within the Mazhab Shafi‘i followed in Malaysia, where many allow it with conditions. So it shouldn’t be treated as a definitive prohibition...

  Because of the ayahtul kursi that hanging on the wall in my masjid I memorised it easily. &nbsp;So I hang the 3Qul in my home so me and my children can recite it everyday.
