  I may be reading too much into it, but in the last part, the stargazers represent the level. If you think of the player/cube as AV himself and the searchlights/stargazers as his view, then he is literally looking back at his past levels and projects (this could also have a double meaning, &quot;looking back at his past levels&quot; could also mean that the ancient/older light coming from the stars is only just now reaching his view, therefore symbolizing the memory of his past levels coming to him while playing) before looking down and moving on to future projects.
