No one else on the planet captures the power of live performance as well as the KEXP video crew. Not sure there's even a close second.

this kid is a genius with the guitar, vocals and as a composer. kindly do not waste any time comparing him to any past musicians.

I've seen him three times. I saw him at White River State Park, and regrettably drank too much, but I remember his iconic straw-man pose backlit as the sun set over the river behind him. I then saw him at a music festival in downtown Indy featuring only Black artists. Only a few hundred people showed, and I got to stand six people from the stage and watch him for a solid 45 minutes, mesmerized. Then I saw him open for the Black Keys at White River, and he absolutely stole the show for me, which says a lot, because I love the Black Keys.

He is this generation's next manifestation of blues and soul and rocknroll and rock. He is America's leading musician, the most talented one at least. And he'll lead the whole world into a future of REAL music. Thank you Mr Gary Clark Jr.

If this isn't a live album, idk what is. This KEXP brings out the best in performers. Gary Clark's material really shines stripped down like this, without the overproduction and the glitter. Really great music. Thank you, KEXP.

Pigeons were sitting in front of my window as I listen to this. Now they fly around like eagles.
