I use to pickpocket gold bars then I learned about golden apples. It’s much easier in my opinion to mine gold ore from 12 different mines and farm golden apples at 3 locations then have a witch make gold bars.

To do the research for the miner robots, you need to be at chapter 11. I haven't gotten that far yet.

There is always a candle on the opposite side or corner of the room from where the guy is in the churches, you can just crouch, steal and stand still til timer runs out and you have zero issues in all 3 churches.

Tip for easy candle steal at the West church, you can actually steal candle in the hidden underground chamber/tomb on side of the church (there was the strongbox we had to open for some quest) and it still counts towards the challenge, you just need to steal candle that is on right side of the tomb. (When you are on the left side it says that you are in the Golden Plains, right side says Church of West Demeniss).

its any candle you can steal in a church the two on sconces on the alter count crouch and steal when only the shop cleric is there and you can do both east and west churches

For the Sleep one, there are also Sleep arrows you can get from a camp dispatch mission. I think they drop from enemies in the Basin also.

Package some of those food provisions from your camp and haul them to Brookefield Marketplace, a full wagon will net you a load of camp money which you can then max out your donations with to get that contribution buff even higher! I mean millions!
