  I was reading “Autobiography of a Yogi” when my wife suffered a life threatening aneurysm. She was given a very low chance of survival. I then fell into a meditative state. Time seemed to slow and my decisions seemed to hold actual weight. I prayed to the great “I AM” and he responded by controlling my fear and giving me the next steps. It was a life changing event for me. I have journaled for every chapter and had been meditating daily for over a year before the stroke. I now talk to the trees and struggle to kill an ant! I am 13 years prior service! My kids and wife say that I became someone else almost over night. I love the new me and God tells me he does too! God is good!

  The best book i ever read , change my life 360 degrees, became a meditator and vegetarian , a better person , because of Yoga/ Union , One .<br>I am 56 , i read it at 46 , i am a total different person 🙏🏻✨🌷🦋🌱🌿💛😊 let me to devotion , let me to the Self thank you &nbsp;Yoganandaji &nbsp;🙏🏻🇬🇹

  I read that book in my Thirties, I was going through a VERY difficult time, Physically, Mentally &amp; Spiritually. I’m now 85 most of my Friends have died. I wrote 2 Novellas Re Transformation, that were staged as Plays. Iv written another based on Esoteric Teachings as a Story trying to make it Informative and Entertaining at this time..It’s more difficult to get Funding and Theatres interested now days, but your video reminded me how I got my other Creative writings existing ! I’d forgotten..❤👍✌️

  life changing book. The second time I read it it helped me get sober and I have remained clean and sober for 18 years by the Grace of God and Yogananda&apos;s teachings and loving energy. &nbsp;yogananda came to America over 100 years ago in 1920, decades before the hippie era, establishing Self Realization Fellowship. they don&apos;t proselytize for ex they don&apos;t advertise that Steve Jobs and George Harrison and Elvis Presley and many other celebrities studied the &quot;autobiography of Yogi&quot; because they believe in attraction to his teachings as opposed to going out &quot;selling&quot; them. &nbsp;Yogananda &nbsp; brought &nbsp;Meditation, and eastern spirituality as well as where it intersects with Judeo Christianity to the West. This man who passed on in 1952, continues to change the world, one reader at a time.

  Biggest take aways:<br>1. Fall in love with the game (or whatever it is that you want to do), with the act that adds value to people&apos;s lives. Money is a by-product. If you are nof value, money will follow. <br>2. Keep showing up. Your subconscious is learning from every mistake.

  I&apos;m a 72 year old American man. When I was 15 years old my Father took me to an event sponsored by a group called SFF, Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship. They were selling some book and had them displayed on s table. My Father said that he would buy me one book, whatever I chose.<br>You know what I bought don&apos;t you.<br>The huge step forward on my search for TRUTH.

  I began reading this book as an atheist. My father was in the final stage of cancer when he gave it to me. I appreciated it because he handed it to me, and I tried to read about 30 pages. However, I stopped due to the many things happening in my life. After my father passed away from cancer, I found the book in my room and started reading it again. Four years later, after many ups and downs, I became a kriyaban, practicing the meditation techniques spread worldwide by Guru ji. My perspective has completely changed, and I have found God within. Now I understand why my father gave me the book.
