  Love the Trangia. I carry the David Canterbury version of the Swedish Mess Kit on a regular Basis. I also have the Triangle Stove and it gets used a lot. They are my go to Kits. Unfortunately they are effected by truly cold conditions. For those I carry a Svea 123R. (It has never failed me in the absolute worst conditions I have dealt with on way too many Mountains since 1984.) My Emergency Stove is my Esbit. It is carried in my Shirt Pocket with 6 Fuel Tablets inside as well as a bag of 10 Tablets in my Pack.

  You get that you can also use the big pot as a lid for the smaller pot in like a bain marie set up, which helps keep say a curry warm while the rice is simmering away 👌🏻

  Nice videos!  I am an altralight hiker/packer, and for the last 30 years, my Trangia has done my cooking.  I just use the stove.  I have a DIY stand and windscreen.  They all fit into my 700ml pot.  I'm the only one in my group who uses an alcohol stove; the others use gas.  I get a consistent 8-minute boil time, so if I'm cooking pasta or rice, I know how to time it.  My fuel bottle is measured out in 2oz incriments.  I get a 21-minute burn time with that.  Most of my meals are freeze-dried, but I love making pasta and sausage.

  Greetings from sunny Malaysia. Nice video and set up. I recently bought the Tundra lids for my 27 and 25 from their website in their 100th Anniversary sale and found these to be a very useful addition to my set up and they fit within the space under the lid, Their potstand is also a handy addition when using smaller pots like the Stanley Cookset one .

  Nice video.  Have you tried a Firebox nano with a Trangia?  I did loads of research and settled on that.  It is small and compact, but also allows the Trangia burner to fit in nice and stable.  You can also use the simmer ring, which is not possible with a lot of set ups. If it is windy, I use a plate windshield.
