Leblanc INSTANTLY trapping Ambessa is so scary. I like that in the show, they SHOW how strong magic is compared to normal fighting. The only way you can fight magic is with magic.

Caitlyn and Mel needed many more scenes together. Also, Caitlyn sacrificing her eye to get those stones off of Ambessa's arms was a tough price to pay.

Man Ambessa is so badass. The whole time her being a kinda villian i just felt so much respect for her. She is a beast.

I quite like the detail that Ambessa goes for Caitlyn’s left (non dominant) eye. I suspect it’s just supposed to be so Caitlyn keeps her shooting eye, but it would ABSOLUTELY be in character for Ambessa to deliberately not hinder Caitlyn’s combat skills, even while maiming her.

I love the characterisation in this fight scene. It's very clear that Ambessa doesn't want to hurt Mel, but she CLEARLY wants to hurt Cait.

I just loved all the casual disrespect Ambessa got in her last moments. First her most valuable spy gets offed in the most humiliating way, then her moment of triumph gets ruined by Jinx pulling up with her whole crib and crew and Kpop, then her big villain monologue gets interrupted by Cait unceremoniously slapping her in the face, and finally she's handed over on a silver platter to the people she fears the most by the daughter she thought was weak. Poetry all around.

Catlyn used Ambessa's advice against her. Remember her monolog about sacrifice when they were training?

at 2:40 you can clearly see how proud Ambessa is of her daughter, and how much she loved her. This death scene was so powerful and heartbreaking. Ambessa was many things but no matter what she was always a mother who wanted what was best for her children. She was willing to be the villain if it meant Mel became her most powerful and wise self, after all she told Caitlyn "I have found a fourth virtue, Sacrifice.". I loved Ambessa and her character was so well written.
