  This describes my ex-girlfriend perfectly. During her formative teenage years, her father left for another woman and her mother was an alcoholic. They were wealthy, so her mother would just throw money at her and tell her to take care of herself. After the first breakup, I got hovered back in, but after the second, I went no contact. But I forgot to block her on one social media account which she used to try to berate me for blocking her phone number and email address. I didn&apos;t get it at first, why she would care if I blocked her when she was the one who broke up with me for the second time. But I understand now. She didn&apos;t want me at that time, but wanted me in her orbit in case she felt like pulling me back in. No thanks. That&apos;s why I believe going no contact is the best &quot;payback&quot; you can give a narcissist.

  The question I always have is, the narcissist creates the abandonment through their horrible behavior, the very thing they fear? Yet they blame everyone but themselves for that outcome. It&apos;s like a snake eating it&apos;s tail.

  It clicked when the speaker made the connection that the victim no longer fits narcissist&apos;s &quot;reality.&quot; It makes perfect sense. The &quot;reality&quot; of the narcissist &nbsp;isn&apos;t based on &nbsp;reason, truth, and mature thinking.
