Faramir is highly underrated by those who only watch the movies. He is one of the best characters!

I love Faramir. He represents modesty, wisdom and inner as well as outer strength. Truly a worthy heir of the numenorians.

"I do not love the sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for it's swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I only love that which they defend." <3

I love this saying by Farimir, and I loved how you synchronized that soft melody when you were quoting it.

I was more than a little disappointed with the depiction of Faramir in the movies. He didn't treat Gollum harshly. He didn't drag Frodo and Sam towards Minas Tirith. He set them free with food, staves, and sound advice. He was an immense help in the quest to destroy The Ring.

It was a pleasure to work with you once again Matt! Faramir is truly a great character who brings hope from faded Westernesse into the world of later days, and he is an excellent choice for this year's theme of hope and courage. Cheers brother!

I love Faramir. When he tells Frodo, "I would not lie, not even to an orc" we know what a it means to be a man of honor.

I think Faramir is now my favourite. His love story with Eowyn brought on a big smile from me
