  they were also the unit called &quot;the cyborgs&quot; before when they defended Donetzk airport against the russians in 2014 and would refuse to give it up for an eternity and held it against overwhelming odds with barely any support. thats basically when they got famous and feared among the russians even before the major conflict started. These guys are no joke.

  I’ve helped evacuate many Ukrainians and most don’t leave (until way too late) because they don’t want to lose all their stuff or they don’t have anywhere else to go.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHX_0f5HubY&amp;t=398">6:38</a> The weather station hallway at Hickam Airbase (second floor) used to showcase all of the patches that have passed through and many were goofy. &nbsp;My favorite as a kid was the Nome Alask patch with air men peeing and it freezing as it hit the ground. &nbsp;Now that is art!!!

From my personal experience (being 17 when war started in Croatia), my family doesn&apos;t wanted to leave our house. &quot;It&apos;s our home. Where should we go?! Everything we have is here.&quot; Unfortunately this led to a more tragedy... but this was just the way of &quot;no go&quot; thinking. Then we were overrun, found ourselves occupied and then cast out of our home and we became refugees.<br>Noticeably, during WW2 my ancestors lived in the same place all the way during months and months of nearby fights, under the German occupation and guess what... Germans didn&apos;t force them out of their home (or anybody else in the region).<br>Greetings from Croatia, country that knows what means to fight for freedom. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦🇭🇷🇪🇺
