  My uncle was USMC during the Vietnam war. He told me they were a few clicks north of the Ashau valley and they heard the radio chatter from that battle. Says it still haunts him

  We was the 3/5 cav. That did road security &nbsp;for the Navy built Highway one through Da nang …1970. We drove our APC up hamburger Hill after the <br>battle. Our base compound was at<br>Quang Tri . Army.

  39年ぶりに見た。少しYouTube用に言語や酷いシーンがカットされたのが残念だがほぼオリジナルで見れた。ベトナム戦での激戦の臨場感が感じられる映画。途中でドクとベレツキが握手するシーンが癒される。

  The vets that were there in that war, &nbsp;many have talked about that for them, &nbsp;this movie represented it the best.

  Some part of this film was shoot in the Philippines around &apos;85 or &apos;86 province of Antipolo Rizal. Exact location was called &quot;Puting-Bato&quot; simply means &quot;White Rock&quot;. The mountains there was mostly of limestone. Some our neighbors was cast as extra. I was 4 yrs. old back then.

  All the weapons sound realistic in this movie, always appreciated that. This was made the year I was born and it still looks as good as ever.

  I was battalion Commo Chief for 3/187 in 1987, this film was shown to us before release to the public. When i was in Vietnam, we did not wear a &quot;subdued&quot; patch.

  Only on You Tube they can ruin a good movie by censoring words most of us learned by grade 3. Can&apos;t watch it
