  I like the fact that Gohan was a lot more motivated to train in this story than in cannon. If I could suggest a few ideas, I believe that the what if's shouldn't be just limited to Goku, but other characters as well. Like... What if Jiren was from universe 7?, or What if Matter Roshi was a Saiyan that escaped to earth years before the destruction of planet Vegeta, and What if Whis was the Grand Priest and trained Goku & Vegeta. Those would be pretty fucking awesome if you asked me.
