  MJ did get the tongue out from his dad. &nbsp;He said his dad did that every time he really went to work. &nbsp;Everything about MJ has a next-level story that makes him so much more interesting.

  Young man, I was a 15 year-old living in D.C. when MJ was a rookie. I also watched his legendary battles with Len Bias when he was in college. We knew we were seeing something that was special even when he was at Carolina. &nbsp;He was a ridiculous athlete. But, what really got me was how ferocious he was and his motor. He, literally, never stopped! <br><br>But... <br><br>We had seen athletes at his level before. Remember: some of us are old enough to have seen a young Cassius Clay. Lawrence Taylor was already wrecking NFL offenses. Bo Jackson and a young Iron Mike Tyson came shortly after MJ arrived. Wayne Gretzky was running circles around NHL defenses. And, for boxing fans, we saw Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran, and Thomas Hearns dominating boxing in the 80s. <br><br>It was an incredible time. And, that&apos;s before I get to music (Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, Rakim, Public Enemy, etc.), comedy (Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy), etc. <br><br>It was an incredible time!

  I was 19 when I saw him play back in 1988 it blew my mind, and after I saw him play I was hooked after that I could wait to see the next Chicago Bulls game!🏀😁👍

  In his Prime <br>He had preternatural speed and leaping capacity<br>His bursts of speed were otherwise nonexistent amongst mortals lol <br>Only Tyson had that kinda speed and power <br>To see him was to be in awe <br>I worshipped the man <br>Watched every game he played <br>I was depressed, actually depressed as a 24 year old when he retired and when he returned renewed my vigor with success and went to every game he played in Dallas til he retired and was there for game 6 in SLC ‘98<br><br>He was God in basketball shoes 🏀

  MJ was like a supreme Olympic sprinter with peak basketball fundamentals and psychotic competitiveness .. we who witnessed what he did and how far separated he was from his peers.
