Some years ago Orson Wells and Robert Blake were introduced to each other on the Tonight's Show. Upon seeing Wells, Blake said, " Mr Wells, You make Wimmpy look skimpy ." Wells retort was, " I'm fat and your ugly, but I can diet." 😅😅😅

Not mentioned: the scene in Citizen Kane where Thatcher confronts Kane at his desk at the newspaper. Kane is eating and Leland says "You're always eating" and Kane says "I'm always hungry." The crew started the scene while Welles was still having his lunch (or snack) as a joke. The lines about eating are improvised but the rest of the scene is carried on as scripted. So Welles' appetite was already famous and has been filmed for posterity.
