  Thanks, Richard.<br>I just ordered one and thanks to your recent community post, I noted down (and used) the current discount code you provided, I saved $15+AUD😁👍<br>I&apos;ve been looking for a good way to diagnose a faulty graphing multimeter board for quite some time.<br>I do have an exact same &apos;working&apos; board to compare, so by using this tool with the dual channel function, this might just be exactly what I&apos;ve needed all along👌<br>Thanks again for all your inspiring tutorials.

  I think what I would need to accompany this gadget is a chart with the shapes it might produce and what they mean, as currently I dont have the knowledge or skills. <br>You seemed to cover a lot of possibilities in the video, so that&apos;s great, thanks, and finding the pulsing 5 volt output sounds extremely useful.<br>It might have to be bumped up the purchase/desirability list 😉

  For what I&apos;ve seen they make a similar model can connect to any oscilloscope with the XY functionality for way cheaper, I think it will be better for the majority of people here.

  What an interesting feature... &nbsp;And when you think about it, there is the potential for examining a particular component to see its behavior, I like the way it appears to be switching the transistor. &nbsp;The fact that this device can be used for comparison. It represents another tool that we can use to diagnose components in circuit which can be a timesaver when compared to removing components for testing purposes... &nbsp;Also, maybe in time as we use this curve tracer for diagnostic purposes, we may find circuits that are supposed be the same. Like in a right and left channel of an amplifier but the curve tracer shows a slightly different pattern, I was wondering if through testing you may test a component, but the trace produced on the device might be slightly different, thus indicating a potential for Another Problem in the Circuit like a failing capacitor? &nbsp;time and experience with using the curve tracer may teach us some other characteristics of using this for diagnostic purposes. &nbsp; &nbsp;Richard, I may need help with understanding why I interpret that pulse feature as something... That could be used to inject that wave pattern through a circuit and look for that pattern. As you go through the diagnostic and the process of figuring how things work. &nbsp;I don&apos;t know if I&apos;m kind of off in my thinking??? &nbsp;but if the opportunity arises. Maybe you can clarify and keep my thinking on track? &nbsp; repairing things takes tools, and over time you build up a collection of equipment, in one sense, we live in good times, when it comes to good and inexpensive test equipment. &nbsp;As compared to test equipment from the past, I could remember when our oscilloscopes were very expensive and the same for digital meters that had a lot of functions, so many of the devices we investigate are in the affordable range and don&apos;t break the bank. &nbsp;I learned things just by comparing different meters and methods and test equipment, each has its characteristics and as we explore these differences, we gain documented experience which is available to us on YouTube. &nbsp; 🙂
