What a lovely presentation!! I have a similar story to your chocolate cake story. When I was newly married I went to my mother in laws house to have her teach me how to can cherries. I did exactly what she said, how she said it and when she said it. Come winter when we consumed them hubby said they were the best. I, too, said it was your mom, I followed her instructions!!
