A lot of people misunderstood his character after season 2, thinking he never cared for the other Vees. But really, his story mirrors Charlie’s. Both are desperate from validation of someone who’ll never give it to them (Lillith and Alastor), they push away those care about/do care for them in the process.

"The moment Vox smells fresh blood in the water" damn I do love a contextual shark analogy and that served.

This is competently written as an analysis and backs up every point with actual evidence, either via verbally mentioning it or just showing it on the screen (superb editing by the way- it's clean, well put together, clever as hell, matches up with everything you're saying in perfect ways, etc.), and like you actually have something worth talking about instead of just rallying up people on extreme takes (e.g. "[thing] IS THE BEST" or, more commonly, "[thing] IS THE WORST") that you yourself probably don't believe in, much like Vox. You actually know what you're saying and why, and you said it well.
Also again the editing is just beautiful.

"Good job!"
-Alastor

While I would never go to the extremes of Vox I can sympathize and resonate with wanting to be "brighter"

I guess the most fitting quote for Vox could be "Do not let perfection be the enemy of good" .My guess is that if Vox had remained content,he probably could have gone from being one of the strongest sinners in hell to the absolute strongest sinner in hell

I am so glad you recognize his behaviour towards Zestial. I have seen so m any people refer to the “respect” he shows Zestial and insist that his behavior stands in stark contrast to the flippant dthe isrespect shown by Velvette towards the elders. I agree with you - his behavior towards Zestial did not show an iota of “respect” to Carmilla or Zestial. I

I was very intrigued by his interactions with Marstro; I don’t have a good understanding as to why he seems to view Maestro as his equal - maybe even his better - in a way that he does not extends to Zestial. Maybe we will see more about this in a future season.

HELL YES! I was waiting for when you'd post a new Hasbin-nalysis (great wordplay btw). Can't wait for when you (eventually) talk about Charlie, and hopefully dissuade some of the hate that's sent her way. Or maybe you'll wait till Season 3, who knows. These vids' quality is top-notch and well worth the wait!
